means pain in the muscles, ligaments, and tendons – the soft fibrous tissues in
the body. According to the
Thorson
started the Fibromyalgia Network that
provides fibromyalgia patients with valuable education and treatment updates to
help them control their symptoms and remain productive. She also started the American Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association (AFSA),
a nonprofit organization that raises money for researching the cause of
fibromyalgia.
As
